Hog traceability machines

• This machine will mark on each part of the hog carcass primal cut : ham saddle, loin, breast and shoulder , while on the slaughterline.

It uses ink-jet technology already widely spread in the meat industry. It is equipped with 4 printing heads “Dot On Demand” or “continuous ink jet”

The great flexibility of this machine allows for a number of different applications : killing number, EC sanitary stamp, percentage of lean meat, customer code, carcass weight..etc… All parts are therefore continuously identifiable throughout the cutting process.

It is fully automatic and does not require any operator. It cuts down significantly on manpower.

• Capacity:

The production capacity for 1 machine is 600 carcasses/hour maximum.
To increase the capacity, it is possible to install various units in series on a same line: up to 1200 carcasses / hour by synchronising 2 units.

• Construction:

The structure and the covering of the machine are stainless steel.
All mechanised movements are controlled by frequency variator or servo-motor.
The construction is simple and sturdy to make cleaning and maintenance easier.
